Production automation

ABI’s engineering department also coordinates internal projects. This makes sense, since a yearly production of thousands of ABI motors is realized within the same premises. Naturally, an internal focus on production automation exists as well. Executing these projects through our own engineering department is an obvious choice.

The stainless steel motor drilling application is a good example of our internal production automation. This machine, equipped with 5 servo axes, presses the end shields onto the stainless steel motor (stator) en then drills several holes for the dowel pins.
